Management Team

David Weinberg – President/CEO. Dave founded NEi Software in 1991 and leads the team of developers for NEi Nastran. He is a 28 year veteran of the CAE industry including extensive CAE and aerospace engineering experience with McDonnell Douglas and Boeing. Dave is also a Lieutenant Colonel in the Air Force Reserve and KC-135R aerial refueling tanker command pilot with over 3000 hours of flying time. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Mitch Muncy – Executive Vice President. Mitch Muncy is the Executive Vice President at NEi Software providing strategic direction and technical expertise. Mitch has over 11years of experience managing a team of engineers and developers for software support and development. For the past 6years, he has lead the ShipLift project which is now in Phase II, Option I (topic NO5-154). Mitch holds a Bachelors of Science from the University of California Irvine.

Katarina Weinberg – Vice President, Business Development and Founder. Katarina founded NEi Software in 1991 and is an integral part of the sales team. She has over 18 years of CAE industry experience in sales, marketing, and business development. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Engineering from California Polytechnic University.

Nicklaus Trebilcock – Vice President, Software Development. Nick has been the VP of Software Development and Principal Software Engineer at NEi Software for 10 years. Prior to NEi Software, he served as a Lead Developer at SimSci - Esscor in Lake Forest, CA for 10 years. He holds an MBA degree with an emphasis in Information Technology from UC Irvine and a Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara.
