Management Team

David Weinberg – President/CEO. Dave founded NEi Software in 1991 and leads the team of developers for NEi Nastran. He is a 27 year veteran of the CAE industry including extensive CAE and aerospace engineering experience with McDonnell Douglas and Boeing. Dave is also a Lieutenant Colonel in the Air Force Reserve and KC-135R aerial refueling tanker command pilot with over 3000 hours of flying time. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Katarina Weinberg – Vice President, Business Development and Founder. Katarina founded NEi Software in 1991 and is an integral part of the sales team. She has over 17 years of CAE industry experience in sales, marketing, and business development. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Engineering from California Polytechnic University.

Nicklaus Trebilcock – Vice President, Software Development. Nick has been the VP of Software Development and Principal Software Engineer at NEi Software for 9 years. Prior to NEi Software, he served as a Lead Developer at SimSci - Esscor in Lake Forest, CA for 10 years. He holds an MBA degree with an emphasis in Information Technology from UC Irvine and a Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara.

Mitch Muncy – Director of Engineering. Mitch Muncy is the Director of Engineering at NEi Software providing strategic direction and technical expertise. Mitch has over 10 years of experience managing a team of engineers and developers for software support and development. For the past 5 years, he has lead the ShipLift project which is now in Phase II, Option I (topic NO5-154). Mitch holds a Bachelors of Science from the University of California Irvine.

Scott Hanratty – Director of Worldwide Sales. Scott has over 28 years of sales and sales management experience in the engineering software community. He worked at MCS, Inc. for over 15 years where he left as the Vice President of Worldwide sales. In more recent years, he was the Director of Sales at Ansys, Network Analysis and Concepts NREC. In all positions, he was responsible for sales management and supporting a worldwide network of resellers as well as wholly owned subsidiaries for MCS in Mexico, U.K and Germany. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business and Economics from Pepperdine University.
